Out Of Hand auditions were fun, what can I say?  I don’t know when i’ll hear back from them, but whatever comes of it, I met some interesting people, and that is a good.

So what did the audition consist of?  Well, only kicking my ass and reminding me of every day when I decided that I would watch movies on HBO instead of running and exercising.  UGHUUGH.  Lotta suzuki stuff, viewpoints.  Burpees.  Statue poses.  “Use only your forehead to move across the floor”.  We all know what these are, and we know that they can be hard.  I think though, if there’s anything I need to work on, it’s core strength.
Afterward, folks had the opportunity to show a special skill that they might be able to bring to the company.  I had brought my guitar for the occasion.  Some other mother trucker has also brought his classical guitar, and plays much better than me.  Oh what a punk.  But it’s alright, because he was good natured, and people, PEOPLE.  It’s not ABOUT who’s better than who.  It’s about art.  Learn it.  Love it.

Now i’m at home, dog tired, and getting mentally prepared to wake up at ass o clock for work.
I may complain mildly, but I much prefer the morning shift over the evening shift.  Closing every damn day kinda gets on my nerves.
